Clavichord: Jean Kleeb

Label  – Da Vinci Classics (Japan)

The CD Clavicolors tells the story of an historic Iberian clavichord built in Madrid before 1800. It is a reflection on the sounds that have already passed through this instrument, understanding the keys, the strings and the soundboard made of rich wood that developed through the long life of this instrument. In addition to the search for ancient sounds, there is also the search for new ones, some of them perhaps not yet heard, transporting the listener in singular and anachronistic musical moments of the oldest keyboard instrument, going through different times in the history of music, ending in Jazz, in Samba and in modern music. – Video Preview YouTube
